It’s a fact, oil politics are in play here, but art, sports and the expanding economy are very much in play. Never more so than in what is coming out of Colombia & Venezuela. These two countries, forget politics, have a vib all their own.

Modern clashes with old, bright fashion styles mix with old traditional native and Spanish cultures. Everywhere you see Micky, baseball and major city logo’s. Yet the fashion is very Latin, music beats to an optimist future, unlike hip hop and much more like the sprit of rock or modern jazz.

Architecture is stated boldly in the buildings, advertisements and media. Even the old share the optimizing of the youth in how life is lived simply but in full.

As for US business here, it’s alive and well. Most flights here are well booked and the majority are business related trips.

No Latin is becoming the new normal and it is coming to the USA in many forms today.

I feel it, enjoy it and welcome it. Last week in Houston I met and conducted business with a lot of Latinos. Today, I bring my services, at home I recognize and enjoy the influences of its culture. I have need to explore further, life brings such self discoveries.
